Well I said I'd give it a try. I'm actually quite proud of it, even if it isn't as good as hers. Learned some new techniques which I may employ in later coloring adventures. So, for now, I give you Venus!
Lineart by the almighty Ho-lie Bean!  coloring by me (obviously) Also, this took me about five hours all told. I kept deleting layers and stuff. Longest I've taken on anything, but I wanted it to be nice. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. This is good, a vast improvement from the previous digitally coloured pictures. I think the technique is good and will get even better once you build upon them
The shadows are nice and I love the olivey skin tone on her, it's pretty.
As well as the colours you used. The purple and yellow go well together and look really nice on her.

and I did that, too when I was colouring her. I used a reference for her legs, so you're not alone. I learned a lot, so yes, practise is practise
